This blog was created to provide updated information on the Nu Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. Here, you will find updates on program targets, community service projects and other pertinent information pertaining to our goals and efforts as a chapter.
Nu Omega became a chapter in our beloved sisterhood on Dec. 9, 1933. The year 2008 marked the chapter's jubilee. We held a Diamond Jubilee celebration on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, to observe the chapter's 75th anniversary of being a leader of service in the community.
